Indian table tennis opened its medal account at Commonwealth Games 2022 with gold in the men’s team event on Tuesday. In the final, the team of Harmeet Desai, Sanil Shetty, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Achanta Sharath Kamal defeated Singapore 3-1 for back-to-back gold medals in the event. England defeated last edition’s runners-up Nigeria to claim bronze medal.
