Speaking to Page Six, the 42-year-old basketball star said, ‘It’s just his face. It’s on my neck. When I was in the Celebrity Big Brother house I dreamed [of] him four or five times.’

Speaking more specifically about the dreams Odom said, ‘They were really vivid and easy to remember because he was talking to me in the dreams.’

The former athlete said that in one of the dreams the two played a game of basketball together and Bryant spoke to him about the afterlife.

‘He just looked back to me and said, “LO, the afterlife ain’t what people make it up to be,” and I just kinda woke up,’ he explained to the publication.

‘I’m stunned and shocked, but it could mean a lot of things. It could’ve meant that he misses his people from him, misses his daughters from him. Could’ve meant maybe his job was n’t finished yet. I woke up really emotional after that,’ he continued.

‘He taught me so many things in life that were necessary on and off the court,’ he said on Instagram.

‘On the court he taught me how to carve out defenses and how to take my time. How to make winning my ultimate goal. Off the court he taught me to sign my own checks lol,’ the athlete revealed.

‘I love you forever, baby. Happy Anniversary @kobebryant #21,’ she wrote with two red heart emojis.

The sentimental message was shared with a throwback photo of the two with the former Laker giving his wife a piggyback ride.

She wore a black baseball cap and a white t-shirt as she wrapped her arms around him.

The post received over one million likes from the mom-of-four’s 15.5 million followers on the popular app.

In the two years since her husband’s and daughter’s passing Vanessa has worked hard to keep both of their memories alive, running the charity organization Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.

She and Kobe met in late 1999 on the set of the rap group Tha Eastsidaz’s music video G’d Up.

Vanessa, who had been working as a backup dancer and a model, was finishing up her senior year of high school at the time.

Six months after they were introduced, the couple were engaged, and they tied the knot at a small private ceremony in Dana Point, California, which was attended by only a small handful of guests.
