The latest series of Love Island is set to hit screens on Monday June 6 with reports earlier this month suggesting the new cast were just days away from filming the advert.

It comes after it was reported that stunning actress and influencer Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is also being lined up to appear on the upcoming series of the show.

The Turkish social media sensation is followed by a host of celebrities on Instagram with the likes of TOWIE’s Pete Wicks and James Lock, and reality star Wayne Lineker among her web audience of 345,000.

Ekin-Su, who splits her time between London and Istanbul, and has appeared on television series Kuzey Yildizi in her home country, will set foot in the villa, according to The Sun.

A source close to the program told the publication: ‘Ekin-Su is the perfect contestant to get viewers tuning in this summer.

‘Not only is she beautiful, she’s also used to being on TV and moves in showbiz circles so she’s sure to bring fireworks.

‘She’ll have no shortage of guys after her in the villa, that’s for sure.’

MailOnline have contacted a representative for Ekin-Su for comment while ITV stated: ‘Any names suggested are purely speculation at this stage.’

It comes after it was reported beautician Sophie Draper had been signed up to appear on Love Island.

The make-up artist dated Aston Villa right-back Matty Cash for four years before they went their separate ways last year.

A TV source told The Sun: ‘Sophie is a gorgeous girl who is really driven and determined to succeed.

‘She has her own beauty salon and already leads a jet set lifestyle, which she likes showing off on Instagram, so she wouldn’t be fazed by being on TV.

‘Love Island bosses think she could be a good fit for the show, it’s early days still but she definitely has potential.

‘Matty will be pretty shocked to see her looking for love on TV, but he publicly moved on pretty quickly.’

MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.

Earlier this month it was claimed the ITV2 show’s new sexy, young cast were just days away from filming the advert, with the promo teasing the programme’s longest ever installment.

A source told The Sun: ‘The schedules are being put together now and fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun from the villa since June 6.

‘Filming for the promotional adverts is beginning in the next couple of weeks and the ads will start in May.

‘This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting.’

A representative for ITV told MailOnline at the time: ‘It’s too soon for us to confirm the schedule.’

It comes after Love Island bosses confirmed they were on the lookout for a new villa in March, following swirling speculation among viewers.

Contestants on the show have filmed at the same Majorcan property for five years, however producers have started hunting for a new space on the island in a bid to spruce up the show.

Kevin Lygo, ITV’s managing director of media and entertainment, told PA Media how the ‘marvelous’ new mansion will make for a ‘great’ eighth series.

He revealed of the sprawling property: ‘We didn’t own it. We rented it and we are choosing a new house for this summer so that is all secrecy.

‘It is going to be wonderful. Yes, it is going to be in Majorca. It is going to be a great one [series].’

The Sun previously reported that the villa is likely to be ‘moving to the foothills of mountains, by a lake or to the coast’ of the Balearic hotspot.

Series one and two of Love Island was filmed at a property in southern Majorca’s Santanyi region before being moved to the current location of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in the north-east.

A source told the publication: ‘ITV bosses think this is the right moment to refresh this element of the show, just as they did in series three back in 2017.

‘Bosses are aware of the fact that this is also an opportunity to consider all the new elements they could introduce to enhance the show even further.’

They added: ‘For fans of Love Island this is huge news and they’ll be eager to see what the new villa looks like and how much it could change the show.’
