Two high-profile Super League referees have been dropped following their performances in last week’s games.
It means that Marcus Griffiths has been given another chance to officiate in the middle. Read more here.
Hull FC legend Paul Cooke has slammed Jake Connor for his antics in the build up to the heavy loss against Castleford Tigers last Friday.
Cooke said in the Hull Daily Mail: “Texting Radford to say you’re playing in the halves and going to do this or that motivates Radders, it gives him a reason to motivate his players and leaves Jake at risk of having an egg on his face and certainly puts a bullseye on his back.”
Sao’s hefty ban
Hull FC forward learned his fate at the Operations Tribunal last night after being charged with striking Castleford Tigers’ Jake Mamo.

Former Wigan Warriors center Oliver Gildart has taken on a bizarre position after being linked with a Super League move.
