Gabriel Jesus brings Arsenal ‘winning mentality’, says Parlor
Gabriel Jesus will bring a winning mentality to Arsenal that the club lacked in their top-four fight with Tottenham last season, according to Ray Parlour.
Arsenal would “probably” have finished fourth in 2020-21 had Jesus been at the club, Parlor reckons, with the new team ethic and mentality something the former midfielder is very impressed by.
He told Sky Sports: “If you look at Spurs, Son [Heung-min] and [Harry] Kane vs Nketiah – nothing against Eddie, he’s still a young lad, he’s still learning – and Lacazette. You put your money on probably Spurs to get over the line.

Chelsea could move towards a deal for Benjamin Pavard after learning of the defender’s fee.
Bayern Munich will demand £30m for the World Cup winner, according to transfer journalist Ekrem Konur.
Thomas Tuchel has reportedly eyed Pavard for a number of weeks as a back-up to Reece James, with a move for Jonathan Clauss likely to fade as Marseille move in on the Frenchman.
Agent Jorginho helped bring Koulibaly to Chelsea
Kalidou Koulibaly was asked to join Chelsea by old friend Jorginho weeks before he moved to the club.
The Senegal defender has revealed his former Napoli teammate’s attempt to persuade him to make the transfer, as he decided he would join the Premier League club.
“We speak together, me and Jorgi, one month ago Jorgi text me and asked me if I wanted to come to Chelsea,” Koulibaly told the club website.
“I said, ‘I don’t know if they [want] I. I want to come but don’t want to propose it myself. If they want me to come, I will come’. And after that my choice was made.”
